Halal.Education Marketplace - Terms of Use

Welcome to Halal.Education Marketplace! By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully before using Halal.Education.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Halal.Education Marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our platform.

2. User Accounts

There are two types of Accounts on Halal.Education.

Buyer

Anyone over the age of 18 can register an Account for free, browse the Resources, and make purchases or download free Resources.

Seller

Anyone over the age of 18 can create a Seller Account and, after approval, upload Resources to sell on the Halal.Education Marketplace.

To access certain features of Halal.Education Marketplace, you will be required to create a Buyer Account. To upload and sell your unique Resources (‘Resources’), you will be required to register as a Seller. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. By creating an Account on Halal.Education, you maintain that the information you provided is true and accurate and that it doesn’t infringe on the rights of others, and you are not impersonating another.

Halal.Education reserves the right to suspend or close any Buyer or Seller Account without notice. As a Buyer, you are responsible to download or store your purchased Resources. If your Account is closed, you will no longer have access to Resources stored in your Account.

3. Listing and Purchasing Resources

Sellers can list Resources for sale on Halal.Education Marketplace, and Buyers can purchase these resources directly through the platform. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and legality of their listings, and Buyers are responsible for reviewing product details before making a purchase.

4. Payments and Transactions

All transactions are processed through a secure payment gateway in US dollars. Buyers will be charged the posted amount for a Resource, applicable sales tax, and applicable shipping cost.

The Sellers Payout amount (seen here) is based on the price of the Resource at the time of sale, minus Transaction Fees. Transaction Fees can include the amount charged from banks and payment platforms per purchase. The remainder will be retained by Halal.Education as a Service Fee.

The Seller Payout amount will be posted to the Seller’s Account and the accumulated amount sent monthly to the payment service or bank selected by the Seller from the choices provided by Halal.Education after applicable transfer fees are applied.

Sellers must own or have the necessary rights to sell the Resources listed on Halal.Education. Buyers are granted a license to use the purchased Resources for personal or educational purposes.

Sellers are responsible for paying applicable federal and local income taxes.

5. Prohibited Content

Users may not list or purchase Resources that violate copyrights or go against Halal.Education’s Content Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our Terms and issue refunds from the violating Seller’s Account. A Seller found in violation of these Terms may be subject to suspension or closure of their Account at the discretion of Halal.Education.

6. User Conduct

Users agree not to engage in any conduct that could harm Halal.Education or other users. This includes, but is not limited to, fraudulent activities, spamming, or attempting to access accounts of other users.

Anything that is a Resource, comment, question, or message (‘Content’) on Halal.Education is subject to the Halal.Education Community Guidelines. Halal.Education may suspend or close an account of a User at our discretion and without notification.

7. Privacy

We take the privacy of our Users as a trust. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Halal.Education Marketplace, you agree to the Terms of our Privacy Policy.

8. Closure of a User Account

Halal.Education reserves the right to terminate or suspend User Accounts and access to the platform at its discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms of Use and without reason. If your Account is closed, you will no longer have access to Resources stored on our Platform.

Halal.Education is not responsible for loss of Resources or Content on our Platform, neither are we responsible for lost sales that might occur due to a suspension or closure of a User Account.

As a User, you have the right to close your Account without notification or reason at any time. If, as Seller, you close your Account, the Resources that have been made available to Users will remain available to them; however, all your Resources will no longer be available for sale. If, as Buyer, you close your account, you are responsible to download or store your purchased Resources before you close your Account. If your Account is closed, you will no longer have access to Resources stored in your Account. Any Content from any User may remain on our Site and Platforms even after you have closed your Account.

9. Changes to Terms

Halal.Education may update these Terms of Use at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of Halal.Education Marketplace following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
